Privacy Policy

TensorHunt LLC is committed to protecting your privacy.

Last updated: October 12, 2026

1. Overview

TensorHunt LLC ("TensorHunt," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

By using TensorHunt, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address, full name, and role (job seeker or employer).

Sign-in providers: If you sign in with GitHub, Google or LinkedIn, or through your employer's single sign-on (for example Okta, Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace), we receive your name and email address from that provider to identify you. With single sign-on, your employer's provider decides who can sign in and may add you to your company's team on TensorHunt.

Profile data: Skills, work history, resume files, location, LinkedIn URL, and other career information you choose to provide.

Job alerts without an account: If you sign up for job alerts without an account, we keep your email address and the search you set up (keywords, and location, work mode and frequency if you choose them). We email you a link to confirm first and send nothing until you use it; unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days. Every alert email has a link to unsubscribe.

Usage data: Pages visited, jobs viewed and applied to, search queries, and device/browser information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, match job seekers with relevant opportunities, send job alerts and platform notifications, ensure security and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

AI match scores: To calculate how well you fit a job, we send the text of your profile (headline, bio, skills, experience and education) to our AI provider, OpenAI, which returns a numerical representation used to compute your match score. Your uploaded resume files are not sent. When employers use AI-assisted job drafting, the job text they submit is processed the same way.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these cases:

  • Employers you apply to receive your application, including your resume, and how you found TensorHunt on the visit you applied in (for example a search engine, LinkedIn or a job alert email). We work this out in your browser from the page that sent you to us; it is stored only with your application. If an employer has connected its applicant tracking system (ATS), your application, name, email address, phone number and a time-limited link to your resume are also sent to that system so the employer can manage your candidacy there.
  • Employers searching for candidates can see your name, photo, headline, location, skills, experience, bio and profile links while "Open to work" is switched on in your profile (it is on by default). They cannot see your email or phone number. They can ask to see your resume: you choose whether to share it and which one, an unanswered request expires after 7 days, and you can remove an employer's access later from Résumé Requests in your dashboard. Once shared, everyone on that employer's hiring team can download it, and we cannot recall copies they have already downloaded. If an employer saves a search, we may email that employer your name, headline, location and years of experience when your profile newly matches it. Switch "Open to work" off at any time to hide your profile from search and these emails.
  • Service providers who help us operate the platform, including OpenAI (AI match scores), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on sign-up and forms), Twilio (SMS verification codes), Sentry (error monitoring), Plausible (cookie-free visit statistics, no personal data), Google Fonts (your browser downloads our typefaces from Google, which sees your IP address), and our email delivery, hosting and file storage providers. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Legal authorities when required by law.

5. Data Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS), two-step verification on sign-in, private file storage with time-limited download links for resumes, encrypted storage for connected applicant-tracking-system credentials, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at security@tensorhunt.com if you find a problem.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings. You may also request a copy of your data or withdraw consent for marketing communications by contacting us at privacy@tensorhunt.com.

California residents have additional rights described in our California Privacy Notice. Our Cookie Policy explains the cookies we use, and you can change your cookie and data-sharing preferences at any time from Your Privacy Choices.
